mugga_graphic.jpgResidents have given their overwhelming backing to plans for a new play area for older children in the Uplands area of Stroud. More than 700 local households were invited to have a say on proposals to install a multi-use games area on the local playing fields.
Of those that responded, 90% said they were in favour of upgrading facilities at Uplands Playing Field. Children at Uplands Primary School also showed unanimous support for the idea.
